Brief: Concept and creation of summer novelty drink mix packaging. Fun and youthful that can be used as a stand alone item or that could span across a whole collection
Created for Modern Gourmet Food’s core summer line, I was tasked with taking an existing structure of a drink mix set that has a die-cut front pop up, and create new novelty themes and shapes with it. These items had to be well thought out as they could be used across multiple different products within the rest of the line or as customers requested custom items.
A style guide was also created to accompany these designs in order to achieve a cohesive look should another designer on the team need to take up the style for a product.
Existing customers and their aesthetics had to be kept in mind as well since the core line was shown to each client, and that required store visits to monitor trends and products currently on the market.
